Former VP Sambo visits Buhari
Former Vice-President Namadi Sambo met with President Muhammadu Buhari on Tuesday at the presidential villa.
He arrived a few minutes to noon and headed straight to the president’s office.
Both men proceeded for a closed door meeting,it is suspected that their discussions would possibily center on the peresent crisis in Kaduna State or possibly the 2019 presidential election.Some other category of analysis predicts that the visit is centred on possible political migration of the former Vice President.He was welcomed at the villa by the former Governor of Rivers state and the present Minister of Transportation Chibuike Rotimi Amaechi,they shortly exchanged plesantries after which the former vice president procceeded into the presidents office for the closed door meeting.

After the visit that lasted about an hour, he told journalists that his visit was private.
This is not the first time that the former vice president is visiting the villa.
In September 2017, he joined Buhari for Juma’at prayers at the presidential villa mosque as part of activities to mark the nation’s 57th independence anniversary.

Sambo was governor of Kaduna state from 2007 to 2010 before he was appointed vice-president by President Goodluck Jonathan in 2010.

BIOGRAPHY OF NAMADI SAMBO
Mohammed Namadi Sambo was born on 2 August 1954 in Zaria, Kaduna State, Nigeria. He attended Baptist Primary School in Kakuri, Kaduna, before attending Kobi Primary School in Bauchi and Towns School No. 1 in Zaria. From 1967 until 1971, he attended Government Secondary School, now Alhuda-Huda College, in Zaria. He attended the School of Basic Studies at the Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria in 1972, after which he gained admission into the Department of Architecture, Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria, where he graduated in 1976 with a Bachelor of Science degree with Honours BSc (Hons). He also holds a master’s degree (MSc) in Architecture.
Sambo served with the Oyo State Ministry of Works and Housing for the National Youth Service Corps up to August 1979. In 1988 he was appointed Commissioner for Works, Transport and Housing in Kaduna. In 1990, Namadi Sambo left the service of the Kaduna State Government and went back to private practice.
