The Newly appointed Ministers told Nigerians before Senate screening that they would work for Nigeria without pay.

Newly appointed Ministers in the President Muhammadu Buhari led administration would be earning a total of N485m yearly.

According to a report by Punch, this is because the new remuneration packages of the 37 ministers is still been processed, hence, the new ministers would be paid in accordance with the existing statute.
While the senior ministers would be taking home a total of N13.3m (N13,374, 240 for each minister excluding the optional vehicle allowance), the junior ministers would be going home with N12.5m (N12,597,332 for each minister excluding the optional vehicle allowance) annually.
